This classic 114mm Newtonian telescope has a primary mirror sized to showcase the Moon, the planets AND bright deep-sky treats without sacrificing portability. It is packaged with an equatorial mount that offers smooth slow-motion controls on the right ascension and declination axes that makes it possible to track your celestial finds with ease and precision. To aid in navigating the night sky, a smartphone mount is included that lets observers attach their smartphone to the telescope and use the AR-Telescope application to locate constellations and planets currently visible. The app also includes an extensive knowledge base filled with astronomical facts. For those wanting to make a foray into deep-sky imaging, the scope has a fast focal ratio of f/4.4 that delivers shorter exposure times. Additional accessories include two eyepieces that provide magnifications of 20x and 50x so users can explore a broader range of objects.
