The gorgeous ruby-red paint offers a beautiful sight during the day, and the telescope offers fantastic views of night sky! This special-edition telescope comes with an extra eyepiece and a 2x Barlow lens.

With 8 inches of light-gathering power and a fast focal ratio, this reflector is a workhorse that is a perfect tool for observing and imaging nebulae, galaxies and star clusters while also providing striking views of our solar system’s top sights. Its focal ratio of f/5.9 delivers the wide field of view and shorter exposure times that are crucial for deep sky astrophotography. The Dobsonian mount is simple to operate, smooth to move and enhanced with a spring tension system to maintain tube balance and accommodate optional accessories.

In addition to having a unique optical tube color, this special edition reflector includes a 70° Series 25mm eyepiece for a wide field of view as well as a 2x Barlow lens that lets you double the power of the 70° Series 25mm eyepiece and the included 10mm Plossl eyepiece.

• 2-inch Crayford focuser comes with a 1.25-inch adapter to accommodate a range of eyepieces and accessories

• Included accessories are a red-dot finder scope for locating objects in the night sky, a smartphone adapter to aid in simple astrophotography and a dust cover to minimize the build-up of dust and fine debris on the mirrors when in transit or storage
